Check out Larry Stone's article in today's issue of the Seattle Times. This is one of the most thorough press articles I have read on the psychology of sports fans. Larry interviewed prominent sociologists and psychologists in this field, such as Christian End, Daniel Wann and Joseph Weis (who works not only on sport sociology, but also on deviance, murder and rock'n'roll !). I also answered Larry's questions about my research with Pierre Chandon on fans' eating behavior following defeats and victories.
